Block & Company brings new Slim Chickens restaurant to Lenexa, KS

Block & Company, Inc., Realtors recently sold the former Shell gas station site located at 8700 Long Street in Lenexa, Kansas to Slim Chickens. Just west of I-35 off 87th Street Parkway, the new location will be built a on 44,000 square-foot lot. This will be Slim Chickens third location in the Greater Kansas City Metropolitan Area and the restaurant plans to open in 2017.

Slim Chickens, a Fayetteville, Arkansas based company, opened their first restaurant in early 2003. Since that time the company has opened more than 40 restaurants throughout the United States and plans to open more in the coming year.

David M. Block, Jay Friedman, and Max Kosoglad of Block & Company, Inc., Realtors negotiated the sale. Block & Company, Inc., Realtors had been the long time management and leasing company for the property.
