Block & Company, Inc., Realtors brings a highly anticipated second location of RUDY'S TENAMPA TAQUERIA to KC Metro after 25-years

One of Kansas City's favorite family owned authentic Mexican restaurants expands to a new Lenexa, Kansas location in Country Hill Shopping Center

After twenty-five years serving the Kansas City metro area delicious authentic Mexican cuisine, Rudy's Tenampa Taqueria is offi cially expanding to a second location in Lenexa, Kansas. The 4,678 square-foot restaurant will be located at 8710 Lackman Road in the former Panzon's space at Country Hill Shopping Center with Rimann Liquors, Ace Hardware, Panera Bread, Sherwin Williams and more.



Rudy's Tenampa Taqueria is a staple in the Greater Kansas City area and has been embraced by the metro for years. This well-known family owned and operated restaurant has been doing business in it's original restaurant on Westport Road in Kansas City, Missouri since 1993. "We are very happy to have found this new location for our restaurant in Lenexa," said Mr. Rudy Garcia, founder of Rudy's Tenampa Taqueria.

When asked why he chose Lenexa and this location in particular for their second restaurant, Garcia said the decision had many factors, including the booming growth and potential of Lenexa's retail and residential climate, the fact that the site was previously a Mexican restaurant making it an easy transition, and the number of former Panzon's employees who expressed interest in coming back to work at the new location.



"Our family and employees are excited to bring our traditions and authentic Mexican cuisine to Lenexa," said Garcia, "We look forward supporting the city as well as the community as a whole for many years to come."

The Grand Opening of the this highly anticipated second Rudy's Tenampa Taqueria Mexican restaurant at Country Hill is scheduled for mid-August 2018.

Mr. Garcia said he has no immediate plans for further expansion in the Kansas City metro but is looking toward the possibility of expanding in other outlying metro markets.
