Letter from President David M. Block

The 2021 year is shaping up to be one of the busiest years we've ever seen at Block & Company, Inc., Realtors when looking back at the activity from the first and second quarters. The resiliency of our business community and their efforts to return to normalcy has been wonderful to witness firsthand. So far, there has been an aggressive return in Kansas City and throughout most of the Midwest involving all areas of commercial real estate. If our activity remains at this pace, 2021 may be the one of the best years we've ever had at the firm.

The high level of optimism especially with our restaurant, retail, and tenant representation clients has been extremely promising. Block & Company's tenant representation team is as active as ever in handling land acquisitions and site analysis not only in the Greater Kansas City area but in our expansion throughout Colorado, Texas, Arizona, and Nevada.

Our doors have remained open throughout 2021 and I want to again thank all of our administrative, marketing, property management, and accounting staff members for their hard work and determination in providing our brokerage team with the support needed throughout the pandemic.

Block & Company is operating at 100% and our brokerage group is very excited about the present activity and business climate which is certainly a good sign for us all as the year progresses forward.
