Block & Company, Inc., Realtors brings Sam's Club to the Plaza at the Speedway

David M. Block of Block & Company, Inc., Realtors is proud to announce that Sam's Club will be the newest anchor tenant to join the Plaza at the Speedway. Sam's Club recently closed on the purchase of 16.8 acres of land and will be a great addition to the new 850,000 square foot retail power shopping center located at I-435 & Parallel Parkway in western Kansas City, Kansas. Sam's Club is expecting to break ground this coming February and is hoping to open in the fall of 2012.

The Plaza at the Speedway development continues to bring an all-star lineup of national retailers and restaurants to western Wyandotte County. Already home to Walmart Supercenter, Best Buy, Kohl's, as well as Jack in the Box, Olive Garden, Chick-fil-A, Taco Bell, Red Lobster, LoganÕs Roadhouse, and WendyÕs restaurants, the Plaza at the Speedway is designed to meet the everyday needs and demands of the residents in this rapidly growing region of Greater Kansas City, and is the only development of this kind in the area.

The Plaza at the Speedway development is located in the epicenter of a major tourism district surrounded by numerous attractions such as the NASCAR Kansas Speedway, Livestrong Sporting Park, Kansas City T-Bones Baseball Park, Cabela's, Nebraska Furniture Mart, The Legends Kansas City Outlets, The Great Wolf Lodge, and Schlitterbahn Vacation Village.
