Janet Toohey serves as Insurance Coordinator for Block & Company. Before joining Block in 2006, Janet worked in the Commercial Property & Casualty Insurance industry as an Account Executive.

Janet carries both a Missouri Resident and Kansas Non-Resident Insurance Brokers license. Her duties include insuring all of Block properties, plus making sure all tenants and vendors carry coverage. She also handles all property and casualty claims.

Janet has received AIS (Associate in Insurance Services) and is currently working towards ARM (Associate in Risk Management) and CRM (Certified Risk Managers) designations.

Janet has participated in the MS150 bike ride as both a rider and volunteer and the Tour of Missouri bike race as a volunteer.

Janet is a graduate of Southwest High School and a University of Missouri - Columbia Alumni.
