Rick Weiser joined Block & Company in 2008 as Construction Manager where he is responsible for the oversight of the construction, and development of commercial properties. These include retail, medical, office and office/warehouse properties. He also provides supervision for property mangers in the maintenance of existing properties.

Rick has 16 years of experience as a Commercial General Contractor in Kansas City. It primarily consisted of office tenant finish work, medical, retail, industrial, renovation and ground-up projects.

Rick graduated from the College of Architecture and Design, Department of Interior Architecture in 1984 from Kansas State University. He received the Paxton Silver bowl award, a faculty award, for being the most outstanding student in his graduating class. He also received a first place award in a national student design competition at the International Woodworking Fair Student Furniture Design Competition in Atlanta Georgia 1984.

Rick went on to work as an Architect II for a Kansas City based architectural firm for two years. He provided space planning for commercial office space, millwork and furniture design for corporate clients.

He then became the Operations Manager and Designer for a custom woodworking company for four years. His talents were used to design custom furniture, casework and office furnishings. He provided the shop drawings and oversaw the production, installation and training of the staff.
