Steve Gasperi joined Block & Company in November 2009 and is currently serving as a retail specialist with an emphasis on development, landlord, and tenant representation.
Steve began his career with Rubenstein Real Estate in 1992 and after seven years he joined Grubb & Ellis|The Winbury Group as the Vice President of Retail Services in 1999. Before joining Block & Company, he served as Senior Broker for Jones Development Company. Throughout his career, Steve has worked with numerous retail clients in the Kansas City metropolitan area, as well as throughout the nation. His expertise includes leasing for shopping centers, new development, third party tenant representation, and investment sales. Steve has extensive experience in multi-market assignments. His accomplishments include the leasing of over 3,000,000 square feet of retail space throughout the Midwest with a value of over $300 million.
Steve is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), Metropolitan Kansas City Board of Realtors. He holds a real estate license in Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, and Iowa. Furthermore, he has served the community through The Dream Factory, American Heart Association, American Cancer Society, Christmas in October, Kansas City Public Television, The Don Bosco Community Center, and as a Project Restoration host family.
