Scott Acosta joined Block & Company, Inc., Realtors in September 2025 as our Transaction Coordinator, managing the complete lifecycle of every real estate transaction. Leveraging his real estate paralegal background, he ensures on-time milestones, accurate documentation, and legal compliance.
Scott's diverse career includes the culinary arts, where he spent a year and a half as a Banquet Chef, and over 20 years in the legal field, starting under the Honorable Betty Jean and serving briefly as a Magistrate Judge in traffic court. He clerked in various areas of the court system, gaining a solid legal foundation, and eventually finding his niche as a Real Estate Paralegal, where he focused on foreclosure and bankruptcy.
In 2017, he transitioned to renewable energy, holding roles such as Real Estate Contract Specialist, Project Manager, and Senior Paralegal, which allowed him to develop a strong understanding of the legal and real estate aspects of project development.
Scott is excited to take on a new adventure in Commercial Real Estate and utilize his attention to detail and cross-functional collaboration skills. Outside of work, he enjoys softball, working out, mountain biking, hiking, and cooking. He loves experimenting in the kitchen and exploring new destinations across the U.S. and around the world, immersing himself in different cultures and tasting the wide variety of local cuisines.
