Block & Company repurposes vacant FedEx location in Independence, MO into multi-tenant retail center, leasing assignment nearly complete

Block & Company, Inc., Realtors investment group headed by Phil Peck, CCIM and Marshal Blount of the firm, acquired a former FedEx facility in March of 2020 located at 3721 Noland Rd in Independence, Missouri. The 8,385 square foot building has since been completely repurposed into a 4 unit, multi-tenant retail center in the heart of Noland Road's "Miracle Mile". Construction of a brand new parking lot and building facade was also completed in 2020.
In a year's time, Peck and Blount have successfully leased three of the four available units to Little Caesars, Grassroots Dispensary, and Cricket Wireless. Little Caesars is currently open for business and both Grassroots dispensary and Cricket Wireless anticipate to be open in the Spring of 2021.
A 1,715 square foot in-line space is the last available unit and features fantastic visibility from the street that carries over 29,000 cars per day and close proximity to Interstate 70.
