A Block & Company acquisition investment group of Kansas City scores a second major shopping center for Christmas

A group of local investors headed by David M. Block, President of
Block & Company, Inc., Realtors in Kansas City purchased the Shoppes at Shoal Creek from Pine Tree Development.
The approximately 100,000 SF shopping center is located on the northwest quadrant of I-35 and 152 Highway in Kansas City, MO across the highway from Liberty, MO. Shoppes at Shoal Creek is 100% leased, tenants include Best Buy, Lukas Liquors, La-Z-Boy, Chipotle, America's Best and many others.
Block & Company originally handled the acquisition and development of the Shoppes at Shoal Creek in 2014 before selling the property to Pine Tree Development. Block is very committed to the area and has developed three power centers at this intersection which include Wilshire Plaza, Plaza at Shoal Creek, as well as Shoppes at Shoal Creek.
David M. Block of Block & Company, Inc., Realtors negotiated the transaction on behalf of the buyers and CBRE represented the seller. Block & Company will handle the leasing and property management of the center.
