Bill Maas, CCIM, joined Block & Company in 2010, entering commercial real estate through connections with William Glasgow and David Block, whom he had known for years. Before transitioning to real estate, Maas spent a decade in the NFL playing for the Kansas City Chiefs and Green Bay Packers. Maas was a two-time First Team All-Pro, NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year, and, most recently, was inducted into the Kansas City Chiefs Hall of Fame in 2025—becoming the 54th individual and 50th player to receive this prestigious honor.

During and after his playing career, Maas became a familiar voice as a radio and TV personality, eventually broadcasting nationally for 12 years on FOX Sports. Throughout this time, he built a diverse real estate portfolio that included rental houses, industrial and warehouse facilities, storage units, and small retail strips—making his move into commercial real estate a natural progression.

Maas brought the same leadership skills that defined his football career to the office, earning his Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation in October 2015. This credential recognizes expertise in commercial real estate brokerage, leasing, asset management, valuation, and investment analysis.

He is a member of the National Association of Realtors, the Kansas City Regional Area Realtors, and the Retail Brokers Network. Maas works closely with Eastern Jackson County Economic Development and maintains strong ties with the Missouri cities of Lee's Summit, Independence, Raytown, and Kansas City. He holds real estate licenses in both Kansas and Missouri.

Beyond his professional work, Maas serves as an active member of the Kansas City Chiefs Ambassadors, promoting goodwill throughout the Kansas City area. The Ambassadors support numerous charitable organizations, including Big Brothers Big Sisters of Kansas City, The University of Kansas Hospital, Camp Quality of Kansas City, Kids TLC, and many other local programs.

Maas earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pittsburgh, where he was a two-time All-American Defensive End and Academic All-American.
