Block & Company local investment group purchases former Runza restaurant property in Mission, KS

A Block & Company, Inc., Realtors managed investment group recently acquired the former Runza restaurant building located at 6751 Johnson Drive in Mission, Kansas from Runza National, Inc. The 2,515 square foot freestanding building is a pad site of the Block & Company managed Mission West Shopping Center with tenants such as Dollar Tree, Planet Fitness, Avelluto's Italian Restaurant, Kansas Drivers License Bureau, Salsa Grill, Taco Bell, 9 Rounds Boxing, Golden Tan, Curves, and more.

Mission West Shopping Center is ideally located just offJohnson Drive & Metcalf Avenue across the street from HyVee Grocery, Natural Grocers, Potbelly Sandwich Works, Pie Five, Five Guys, and PepperJax Grill - other nearby tenants include: Target, Panera Bread, Horrizon's High School and Shawnee Mission North High School, Applebee's, Burger King, Arby's, Popeye's, Planet Sub, Jose Peppers, Starbucks, Subway, and more.

The former Runza property was purchased as part of 1031 exchange and David M. Block, Alex Block, and Max Kosoglad of Block & Company, Inc., Realtors negotiated the transaction on behalf of the buyer. Block & Company will be handling the leasing and property management of the former Runza space and are in the process of locating a replacement restaurant user for the site.
