Garrett R. Cohoon joined Block & Company, Inc., Realtors as a Commercial Sales Associate in 2020. He previously worked as a property manager, gaining expertise in evaluating opportunities where new ownership could reduce expenses and increase property appreciation. He also has experience as an advisor for acquisitions of new commercial properties for private portfolios.
Prior experience at Triune Financial Partners LLC, as a Residential Financial Advisor. Garrett is a graduate of the University of Kansas where he earned his Bachelors of Science Degree in Finance and Special Concentration in Real Estate valuation.
Garrett is a licensed commercial sales agent in both Kansas and Missouri. Garrett has proficient skills in Financial Analytics and Real Estate valuation models. He currently works closely with local and national tenants for procurement of space in the Kansas City Market. He orchestrates the placement of tenants into vacant spaces for owners and assists in the lease negotiation for both tenants and owners.
He works with multiple investors looking to expand their Real Estate Portfolio and increase their supplemental income. He also works with investors looking to sell their properties and trade up in a 1031 Exchange or sell their property outright.
While at Block & Company, he has primarily focused on retail, restaurant, landlord representation, as well as tenant representation across the Kansas City area. Garrett is also a member and volunteer of the Kansas City Heart of America Scouting Council.
